Language: Rhetorical questions = involves audience, Antithesis = Emphasis, Alitteration,anaphoras,embedded sentences, uses neutral language, uses a lot of pathos due to the subject.
Intention: 1) Calm the storm / pour oil on the waters 2) Tell the people to pull tthemselves together. 3) Send a message that violence is not to be met with violence. 4) Violence is a social problem -> Violence is a poison. 5) Enlighten people about the rights and wrongs.
