Favorite speech was the one by Obama. Obama is a great speaker and understands how to incorporate a lot of ethos and pathos and criticize the opposition in a subtle way
Without a doubt my favorite speech was the one by Obama - the one we analyzed. The way he used sponsorship several times (and referred to acknowledged and historic speeches) and made the speech sort of intimate by adding his personal life experience was fucking top notch and tipped it for me. In general I'm just a sucker for Obama, and yes, I'd vote for him this year if I could.
I like the speech by Barack Obama - the one we analyzed. Like Katrine I like the way he uses sponsership and the fact that he tells about his own life.
I am a big fan of Martin luther king jr's - I have a dream. It is touching, moving and revolutionary for many people around the world. he knew what he needed to do to greate unity among people. Way to go Martin!

Out of 5 I like 2. Martin Luther King, because I have taken a lot of notes. Obama's speech, because he does it good and understandable.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting hold of speeches and like analyzing it.
Thanks to all the analysis we have done on class.

I like the Obama speech the best, because it is very profound
ReplyDeleteL like the Winthrop one. Because the point he is trying to make is very clear and the imagery works well.

ReplyDeleteI like the Martin Luther King speech because he has some very good metaphors for example "To cash a check".
